Last week we spent a nice night up Spring Canyon. Climbing with friends and hanging out by the campfire! This was most of the kids first time and they did GREAT! We're planning another evening like it soon.

Nature For Kids is fully up and running now! A few items to come in the future are...parent forum and Nature For Kids merchandise.
This summer I want to put together an outdoor activity program for kids that will take place once a week. Probably in the morning when it's still cool outside. We'll go on short hikes do nature crafts and other fun stuff. Comment here if you're interested in participating. It will be free and everyone is welcome! I'll probably start the first activity in June sometime, I'll keep you posted. - Shawna
Is there an unwritten code that says you need to have your child's uniform clean for every baseball game? I hope not because I'm getting sick of washing Cru's pants. He had four games in the last two weeks and I've washed his uniform four times. I'm so sick of it. 
At his last baseball game I almost told him to not get dirty, and then I thought, that's the silliest thing to say to a kid before he takes the field. Sliding into base and diving for the ball are the funnest parts. I don't think I ever realized how often my mom had to wash my uniforms in high-school. But as with many things, I appreciate it more now because I have to do it for my own kids.
So here's a ginormous THANK YOU going out to my mom for keeping me looking neat and tidy for all those games! Love ya mom!
