Well after two weeks of being sick our family finally escaped the stale air in our home and went to a cool slot canyon about 1 hour from our house. It's called Black Dragon. Pretty amazing place. We enjoyed the 45 degree weather and the fresh air. We were the first to arrive at the canyon but while we were exploring we had about 5 horses and riders pass us and two trucks and later two suped up 
landcruisers. It was nice to see that the warmer weather was drawing out all crowds. We saw some pretty crazy indian art and a neat cave also.

Hey, we just had the same idea!! After 10 days of fever and hallucination we had to get out of Dodge. Where is this place? It looks awesome. I am an outdoor idiot but I really want to do more things like this.

ahh, that looks like so much fun, I don't even remember what it was like to see dirt. We still have like 3 1/2 feet of snow on the ground, at least it has stopped coming down. But I can't wait for those little day adventures to start again. That looks like so much fun, I need to start making a list of everywhere I want to go when we come this summer. What a fun time it will be...YAY for hot weather...anything over 30 is great!
That pic of Ava in the glasses is classic comedy. She is such a little superstar! We went for a long walk with Fletch yesterday. He loves the fresh air and is so calm and quiet when outside. Looking forward to warmer weather, but i think winter has a few more surprises instore before he calls it quits for the year.
we went hiking on Monday too. It is so nice when it starts to get warmer out and you can enjoy the outdoors. I love you other blog too. the whole time we were hiking I was telling my husband about it. We will have to keep looking at it for good tips. You need to make a list of your top favorite spots to go with and without kids. I am always trying to find new places to take the kids without having to worry that they are going to fall off a cliff or something.
